Les Tonnelleries de Bourgogne is the export department for the BILLON cooperage in Beaune in Burgundy; it’s managed by Vincent DAMY. The BILLON cooperage employs 20 coopers, 2 of which were named the best in France. It produces 10,000 barrels each year.
Created in 1947, the BILLON cooperage contributes to the production of great wines. It works in collaboration with the largest French and international estates, adapting to their requirements, choice of wood, heating and barrel size.
BILLON barrels adapt to different grape varieties as the oak emphasizes the fruit and provides undeniable support for the main characteristics of each wine without becoming overpowering.
